I charge a small fee per page, but if you decide to go with me it will go towards your overall costs. The fee will be dependent on how many pages you submit, the time it takes to edit, and the type of editing you’ve requested.

AI is a great tool and I definitely think we should embrace it. However, I do not use it for major editing. I also do not accept projects that are mostly AI generated and written. Using AI to brainstorm is totally fine!

Of course! I have two free options for you. We can do a 30 minute zoom call to discuss your project in detail. Or I can provide you a suggestion based on a sample you send me. I will not do any actual editing with the sample, but instead send you an email summary.

Technically, everything! Editing is editing, though it certainly helps if I know a bit about your topic. My areas of expertise are cookbooks, climate change, blogs, grants, and humanities focused academia. But I have lots of other interests and love learning, so even if your project doesn’t fall into one of these areas, I would still love to discuss your project!

Return time is dependent upon the size of your project and the level of editing. You will be provided an estimated timeframe before I start on your project.

I can follow any style guide that you prefer.

I use Microsoft Word only. It is the most efficient program for editing.
