About me
I’m an avid reader of everything from romance to nonfiction because a good editor is first a good reader. I have extensive experience in editing nonfiction books.
My path here was winding—atmospheric sciences degree, four years as an Air Force weather officer, a master’s in HRM (that I never used!), culinary school, and a food blog, all before taking an extended parenting break. When I was ready to return to the workforce, I earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from ASU and a Copyediting Certificate from UCSD Extended Studies. Most recently, I completed a developmental editing course from the University of Washington.
I’m mom to one human kid and two furry ones, married to my best friend, and live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When I’m not reading or hanging with my family, you’ll find me playing guitar, baking bread, tending to my many houseplants (it’s a bit of an obsession), or fixing up my older house.
